A licensed, properly run casino holds a licence from a regulator, is run by an identifiable company, gives players a route for complaints and sets out how it pays out. For Bet365 the licence side is clear: the Gambling Commission lists Hillside (UK Sports) ENC and Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC as its licence holders. The sections below take the four checks in turn, then cover the games, payments, offers and account rules.

Bet365 account rules and identity checks

The minimum age is 18, and gambling under that age is against the law. Bet365 takes its responsibility to prevent underage gambling very seriously. A customer may register for one account only.

Registration also depends on the customer not having previously held an account with bet365, or with any member of its corporate group, that was restricted or closed for any reason.

If an account stays dormant, an Administration Fee of £2 is deducted from the balance every 28 days. Deductions begin after a minimum of 35 days following the first attempt to notify the customer.

Bet365 customer support and mobile play

Live Chat is the support channel, and the chat service is provided by an AI Agent. More information is available in the Help Centre.

Bet365 apps are available on mobile devices. An account has a username or email address and a password chosen by the customer, plus a 4 digit passcode for opening the apps.

Safer gambling at Bet365

Bet365 offers a budget calculator, deposit limits, reality checks, an activity tracker, time-out, self-exclusion and gambling blocks for managing gambling.

To open an account a customer must not be self-excluded, whether directly with bet365 or through a multi-operator scheme such as GAMSTOP. Bet365 also runs a Safer Gambling site of its own. Wider guidance for players is on our responsible gambling page.
