A licensed, properly run casino holds a licence from a gambling regulator, is operated by a named company and gives players a clear route for complaints and payouts. Casumo is run by Recro Limited, which holds Gambling Commission licence 61549. The sections below take the checks in that order, then cover games, payments, bonus terms, account rules, support and safer gambling.

Licence card

Is Casumo licensed?

The Gambling Commission is the regulator, and the register status of the licence account is Active. The Gambling Commission badge appears on the front page. The same page states that all gameplay runs under strict rules for fairness and player protection.

Company card

Who runs Casumo

The operating company is incorporated under Maltese law. Casumo launched in Sweden in 2012 with the aim of shaking up the online casino space and making it fun again. Besides the casino, the brand offers sports betting, which has its own sports betting terms and conditions and its own sports bonus terms.

Register lines for Casumo:

Gambling Commission register, account 61549, Recro Limited: domain casumo.com, Active

Gambling Commission register, account 61549, licence account name Recro Limited

Gambling Commission register, account 39265, Casumo Services Limited: domain casumo.com, Inactive; trading names Casumo (Inactive)

The last line is a different account in the name of Casumo Services Limited, where both the domain and the trading name Casumo are marked Inactive. A search by domain or brand name can bring up both entries, so the account number is the quicker way to find the entry that matches the operating company.

Our licence team tests casinos and checked what Casumo's pages say against the public register, and how we check a casino sets out the steps in full.

Complaints card

How to complain about Casumo

Complaints about Casumo go to the casino first and to an alternative dispute resolution provider second. The provider is eCOGRA. The steps run in this order:

  1. Contact Casumo by email or live chat and describe the complaint. Every complaint is acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt.
  2. The support department handles the complaint. It is escalated inside the organisation when support staff do not solve the case immediately.
  3. Casumo aims to resolve the complaint to the satisfaction of both parties as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 8 weeks after receiving it. If that is not possible, it contacts you to explain why and gives a date by which you can expect a full response.
  4. If you are not satisfied with the resolution, or the complaint is still unresolved after 8 weeks, you may report it to the alternative dispute resolution organisation eCOGRA.

Payouts card

Casumo withdrawals and payout terms

The pending period is the window in which a withdrawal request should be approved or denied, although the time needed to finalise a request can vary with circumstances. Casumo does not charge a withdrawal fee for processing withdrawals over £10. A £3 fee is charged on withdrawals below £10, so the fee matters most on a small balance.

The withdrawal conditions include verification. Until Casumo has received the requested documents and is satisfied with its checks, it is entitled to restrict the account in any manner it reasonably deems appropriate, including preventing the player from placing bets or withdrawing funds. The documents involved are listed under the account rules below.

Casumo games and providers

The lobby is advertised at 3,500+ games, with Evolution and Pragmatic given as examples of the studios behind them. The range runs from fan-favourite and hidden-game slots to table games and live dealers, plus exclusives such as Casumo Bonanza. Studios behind the games include Evolution (also written Evolution Gaming), Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Blueprint Gaming, Play'n Go, Big Time Gaming, Elk Studios, Net Entertainment, Relax Gaming, Slingo, Gamevy, Hacksaw Gaming, Triple Edge Studios, Nolimit City, Microgaming, IGT, Novomatic, Push Gaming, Playson, Quickspin, Red Tiger, Thunderkick, Yggdrasil, Gamomat, Just for the Win, Skywind Group, Scientific Games, Nextgen Gaming, Leap, Pocket Games Soft, Inspired and Essential Entertainment.

The live casino has real dealers and real-time play. The live blackjack line-up includes exclusive tables alongside tables from other live providers. Betting limits vary by table, and some tables range from £5 up to £5,000. Game-show style titles include Dream Catcher and Money Drop.

Progressive jackpots form a separate part of the lobby. Divine Fortune, Hall of Gods and Mega Moolah are the progressive slots the casino highlights. Each prize pool keeps growing until a player wins it.

Casumo deposits and payment methods

Payment methodMinimum deposit
Visa£10
MasterCard£10
Apple Pay£10
PayPal£10
Trustly£10
Paysafecard£10
Skrill£10

Visa, MasterCard and Apple Pay carry a deposit marker on the casino's pages, and the other methods in the table sit beside them. Casumo accepts payments in British pounds only.

Casumo welcome offer and bonus terms

Casumo's welcome offer matches the first deposit at 50%, up to £100, and needs a deposit of at least £20, which is higher than the minimum for ordinary deposits. To activate it, the player clicks on the Valuable before making the deposit.

The wagering requirements are 10x on the bonus amount. While bonus money is in play, the maximum bet is £5 per spin or £0.50 per bet line, and the limit applies until the wagering requirements have been met. The expiry is 7 days: if the wagering is not completed in that time, the bonus expires. Contribution to the wagering requirements varies per game.

A separate onboarding mission gives 10 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza by Pragmatic at 10p per spin. The mission can be completed once per player, carries no wagering requirement and the spins are valid for 3 days. Further free-spin promotions need a £10 minimum deposit, carry no wagering and expire after 3 days: Complete 1st deposit uses Big Bass Bonanza, and In Orbit uses Gates of Olympus on each deposit.

Regular promotions run alongside the welcome offer. Daily Tournaments run every day with up to £3,000 for first place, and Weekly Tournaments and Monthly Prize Drops are also on the list. Weekly Wheel Drops run every week with prizes up to 100,000x your bet, and the £302K weekly wheel is scheduled from 4 March 2026 to 3 March 2027. Rewards BURST! and its prize drops and tournaments run from 21 August 2026 to 20 August 2027 with no wagering, and Playtech Lucky Rush runs from 30 September 2026 to 17 January 2027.

October 2026 brings birthday promotions, all within 1 October to 1 November 2026. The Big Birthday Drop has no wagering and a 48h expiry, and 105,400 birthday prizes are in play. Birthday Spinumo, the weekend quest, runs every Friday to Sunday, needs a weekend deposit total of £50, carries no wagering and expires in 24-48h. Umodays covers the same dates.

Smaller daily offers have short expiry times. Spinumo is daily with a 24h expiry. The daily free spin resets at 00:00 BST, the spins expire in 24 hrs, and the reward is up to 100 free spins at 10p per spin. The Play Live tables offer on selected Casumo Live Casino tables carries no wagering and a 24h expiry. The Golden Round carries no wagering either, with a maximum win of £50 on selected Casumo-branded live tables that include the Aurum Auto Roulette Luxe. Sports offers include the Sports Welcome Offer, Odds Boosts, Profit Boosts and Free Bets.

Casumo account rules and identity checks

Players must be at least 18 years of age. Casumo uses technical partners to verify players from the information they provide. It may also ask for valid identification documents proving age and address, so that it can carry out the identification, credit and other checks it requires or that laws, regulations or regulators require. Players agree to provide all requested information for these checks.

Identity documents include a current signed passport, a current photo card driving licence, a national ID card and a government-issued ID document with a photo. The privacy notice also refers to copies of ID or a passport, identification numbers issued by government bodies and photographs that identify the player. Name, address and date of birth have to be verified before a player can deposit, play for free or use a bonus or free bets.

Players using a shared computer can only have one account per computer or IP address. Once an account becomes an Inactive Account, Casumo charges £5 per month as an administrative fee to the account.

Account limits and self-exclusion requests are valid for the Casumo website only and do not extend to other sites operated by the company. Security measures are in place to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised or unlawful way, altered or disclosed.

Casumo customer support and mobile play

Support is available from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM (GMT/BST), described as UK support hours. The email address is hey@casumo.com, and live chat is the other channel.

Dedicated Android and iOS apps are available, with App Store and Google Play badges on the front page. A separate download page covers both platforms.

Safer gambling at Casumo

Casumo offers limits on wagering, loss and deposit, and a limit on maximum session time. A wagering limit caps the total amount a player can place in stakes over a period. A loss limit restricts the amount of real money a player can lose. Spending limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion are also on offer.

The casino points players to outside help in relation to their gambling habits. The help services are:

  • GambleAware, also written BeGambleAware
  • GamCare
  • GamStop
  • Gambling Therapy

Our responsible gambling guide explains these tools and services in more detail.
